A warm half-day gathering to welcome the new NANO-PHOT M2 students, meet professors and PhD students, and start the new academic year together.
On September 3, 2026, the NANO-PHOT Graduate School organised a half-day Welcome Day for its new M2 students at UTT.
The event opened with a warm welcome from Prof. Baudrion, who gave a brief overview of the semester ahead.
The students also had the opportunity to meet and exchange with professors and PhD students, who joined the event to welcome the newcomers and share their experiences within the research and academic community.
A friendly snack time gave everyone the chance to get to know each other, exchange about their backgrounds and interests, and start building connections within the NANO-PHOT community.
This year, the NANO-PHOT Graduate School is pleased to welcome around 25 students across the M1 and M2 programmes. A second Welcome Day will also be organised in Reims for our new M1 students.
