A new France-USA program, entitled MAT-MOV, has just been launched by the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA). This collaborative exchange program between UTSA, the University of Toulouse (UT) and the Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT) aims to facilitate international exchanges, enhance student education in materials science (in the broadest sense) and strengthen research collaborations between the three institutions. This program, co-financed by the FACE Foundation's Transatlantic Mobility Program and the College of Science at UTSA, funds student mobility (incoming and outgoing) between UTSA and France (UT and UTT).

MAT-MOVE is open to students at PhD, Masters (M1, M2), in materials science, photonics, physics and closely related fields. The scholarships awarded cover a living allowance and travel expenses for visits lasting from 2 to 8 weeks.

NANO-PHOT students who are interested in a 2 to 8-week research stay at UTSA, during their master's degree, or as part of their research activity during their PhD thesis, can consult the program website ( https://sites.google.com/view/mat-move/guidelines-policies ) and get in touch with Renaud Bachelot: renaud.bachelot@utt.fr
