The 2026 Nanophotonics Workshop at UTT brought together international researchers and students to share recent advances in the field.
As part of its annual activities, the NANO-PHOT Graduate School held the 2026 Nanophotonics Workshop at the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) on May 20–21, in collaboration with Professor Alexander Govorov from Ohio University.
The workshop aimed to:
• Foster new international research collaborations and partnerships;
• Promote the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT), its NANO-PHOT Graduate School, and the L2n Laboratory (CNRS UMR 7076);
• Provide students with opportunities to interact with internationally recognized researchers and leading experts in the field.
This year, the workshop brought together more than 50 participants, including invited researchers from France, Germany (University of Tübingen and Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden), Spain (University of Vigo), Italy (University of Pisa), Canada (Western University), and the United States (Ohio University).
The scientific program covered a broad range of current and emerging topics in nanophotonics, including nanomaterials (such as perovskites, ZnO, and two-dimensional materials), chirality, hot electrons, quantum emitters, and nanoplasmonics.
