The University of Technology of Troyes hosted the sixth edition of the biannual ʺInternational workshop on Metallic Nano-Objectsʺ (MNO) in Sept 19-21 2023. Organized by the L2n laboratory (UTT & CNRS-EMR 7004), MNO2023 provided an overview of recent advances and challenges in the development of metallic nano-objects and their applications. Approximately one hundred people attended the 37 talks and 23 posters presenting newest results about ultrafast and nonlinear plasmonics, enhanced light-matter interactions at the nanoscale, metasurfaces, structural colors, sensors and bio-plasmonics or novel materials and synthesis for plasmonics. Among the 37 talks, 15 were given by young researchers (PhD and postdocs) allowing them to present their work in front of friendly peers. Finally, the social program allowed attendees to discover the historical riches of the city during their stay in Troyes, France. The conference was preceded by a one-day Summer school organized by NANO-PHOT, entitled “Nanophotonics & Sustainability. Seven lectures were given about topical subjects such as organic optoelectronics and photonic computing. More than 50 people attended (see https://mno2023.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id
